Dear Friend

The Porter's Garden Strawberry Tea Party
Sunday 20 June 2004   2pm~4pm

Application form for tickets · Poster pdf

The Friends of the Porter’s Garden invite you to share our midsummer garden celebration. Last year our Strawberry Tea Party was a great success, with a hundred people attending. This year we are celebrating the offer of a substantial grant to “develop and enhance the existing garden” and winning 1st Prize for Portsmouth & Southsea in Bloom’s Most Attractive Historic Garden 2003.

The garden is looking even lovelier as it approaches its fourth midsummer, as flower beds and hedges mature. Help us raise funds by bringing your family and friends to enjoy fresh strawberries, scones, cream, strawberry jam and tea (or a soft drink) in a beautiful garden to the sounds of the Con Brio singers for £5.00.

To attend, please return the form with a cheque. Directions: M275 into Portsmouth following the brown signs to Historic Ships along Market Way, Alfred Road and Queen Street. There is multi-storey and ground level car parking in Havant Street. Walk through the Victory Gate entrance and turn right past the white Porter’s Lodge.

Yours faithfully

Ann Coats
